The global searchlight made a bold, historical beam at Osun State University on Friday, 14th September, 2018 when the world famous British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) engaged four gubernatorial candidates in a heated debate ahead of the September 22 governorship election in Osun State.
Notice is hereby given that the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Supplementary Screening Exercise will hold for candidates who chose Osun State University as their first choice or those willing to change their institution and make Uniosun their first choice for the following newly accredited programmes with a minimum score of 160 and above:

Osun State University has received the approval of the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC) to commence and offer 18 additional undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the university. This latest news was announced to the university vide a letter of approval from the NUC Executive Secretary Professor Abubakar Rasheed to the Vice Chancellor of Osun State University, Professor Labode Popoola.
Notice is hereby given that the results of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise into Osun State Univesity have been released. UTME Candidates who participated in the exercise are therefore advised to check their screening results via the Undergraduates Admissions Portal at http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.
This is to inform the prospective applicants intending to transfer their studentship to Osun State University that the University has commenced the sales of Inter University transfer for the 2018/2019 Academic Session. Candidates that wish to transfer their studentship to UNIOSUN should visit http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit their applications.

Osun State University Governing Council has approved the appointment of Mr. Gafar Ayodeji Adebayo Shittu as Substantive Registrar and Mr. Abolarinwa Feruke as Substantive Bursar of the University respectively on Friday February 9, 2018 following the consideration of the Report of the Selection Boards.
